Quilting in Section Workshop
In this work shop you will be learning the technique of quilting in sections by trying it yourself. This amazing technique will allow you to quilt large quilts on a regular household sewing machine. Three variations will be taught. Two of these techniques are done so that the finished quilt has no visible sign of being quilted in sections. Various quilts that have been quilted with these methods will be available to see. Other places that these applications could be used will also be explored. Handouts for further reference will be available. It is my hope that this workshop will be both fun and informative for you. Knowledge of machine quilting is a prerequisite.

Stripping the Beauty Workshop
In this workshop you will learn the technique of strip paper piecing. If you enjoy paper piecing you will love strip paper piecing. If you are new to paper piecing, learn the technique along with the enhanced addition of doing it in strips. You will be making a variation of a New York beauty while learning this method. Pattern with detailed instructions included. Come out and enjoy this course of Stripping the Beauty.

Machine Quilting Workshop
Have you ever wanted to try machine quilting but don’t know where to start? Are you a quilter and want to learn more? Come to this interactive workshop where you not only learn but you also try many methods. Some of the exciting methods include: various all over patterns, arc gridding and easy and more challenging feathers. Two easy machine trapunto methods will be learned at this workshop. Machine settings, thread types, and marking tools will also be reviewed. You will be making a number of 10″ or 12″ sample blocks. It is my hope that this workshop will be both fun and informative for you.

Christmas Card Workshop
Do you want to make your own quilted Christmas cards for friends and family? Come out for a six hour workshop, and go home with 10 Christmas cards ready to send out. The class includes the pattern and instructions for four different card designs. Each design will be paper pieced and attached to card paper which will also provided. This fun day of card making is sure to get you ready for the fast approaching holiday season.
